Beauty on a pedestal
Some say we shouldn't put beautiful women on a pedestal. Beauty is a myth, they say, or it's an airbrushed concoction of the fashion industry. And even when they run out of put-downs and dismissive comments, they still seethe with resentment and declare that 'everyone' is beautiful, and holding up any one woman as beautiful is merely a subjective and unfair thing to do. We couldn't disagree more. Looking at a naturally beautiful woman like Jacqueline, we can think of no better place for her than on a pedestal - held up as an icon of values and admired as a shining example of objective beauty. Why shouldn't we celebrate someone so beautiful, so perfectly formed, and appreciate her for sharing her beauty with us?
